Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a 2023 action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The game is part of the Avatar franchise, and was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on December 7, 2023.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available on the following platforms: PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S. The Ultimate Edition is included with Ubisoft+.

Avatar's free trial will be live from July 16-28 and plays from the game's beginning for up to five hours or till the moment you reach the Hometree in The Aranahe Clan quest. You can carry your progress forward by buying the game and its various editions at discounted prices from July 18, 2024.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was intended to launch to coincide with The Way of Water. However, after several delays, the game launched in December 2023 with limited marketing. At the time of writing, sources revealed that the game has accumulated 1.9 million players (estimated $133m in revenue).

Much like any traditional Ubisoft open-world, the map of Massive's latest title is quite expansive. Avatar Frontiers of Pandora map size is roughly 255 km², which on paper isn't that big considering some of Ubisoft's previous titles, but it's still quite huge for an open-world game.
